Rejection pile and a sales pitch

Every night for the last I don't even know how long, Dempsey makes a habit of deciding which things in her room are unacceptable. 

There are always the same couple things that usually don't make the cut, but then she'll throw some surprises in there too. 

Tonight's rejection pile-

The owl with the 'mean eyes' along with Who Wants to be a Poodle? I Don't story are usual contenders. Surprises for tonight include the baby animal book, The Princess of Pink Slumber Party and Madeline. Would love to know what she is thinking when she makes these selections. I know one thing- I can guarantee she has SOME sort of opinion about it. Goes without saying. 

In other news Quinn, I think, is a born salesman. He sees products on TV, then when he sees the same product at a store he launches into his sales pitch. Recently it was for the Command hooks. We're at target and he says- 'oh! They sell Command products here!' What a hoot. Command PRODUCTS?! Not hooks, or those things I saw on tv. No, NO. That wouldn't do. So, he launches into this whole spiel asking if I have anything I need to hang, and telling me how it works. It was a riot.
