Sorry no pictures tonight, but I thought I'd do a quick update.
Quinn is officially working on his third tooth! He's got both bottom teeth coming in and now one of the top ones is starting to poke through! We were taking the boys up to bed tonight and Jason heard what sounded like teeth grinding/clacking. I was like: 'no, he's just making some funny noise with his mouth' (nut that he usually is). Well, lo and behold I felt his gum and it WAS him clacking his three teeth together! Parker was sleeping so I didn't feel the need to bother him and see what's going on with his dental situation. :)
Quinn is also becoming much more proficient at sitting up. He's been able to do it technically, but he'd just get lazy and flop back down onto his back. These kids have always taken the path of least resistance!
Yesterday my former co-worker Patti and her little girl came over for a 'play date' (mommy break). It was so nice to have another mom with a kiddo the same age over. Hannah is exactly three weeks younger than the boys technically....which really means she's about two months older when you consider that the boys were actually due in April. It's always neat to see what Hannah's doing because I can then expect the boys will generally be doing the same thing within a couple of months. I'll have to post pictures of the three of them...
I was thinking today about how fortunate we've been with the boys health-wise. (I should knock on wood now). I'm probably jinxing myself even typing this but neither one of them has even had a cold yet- it's unbelievable to me! I'll just keep telling myself it's the supernatural powers of breast milk! :) Haha.
Think that's it for now. I need to go back downstairs and unpack my Target purchases. Today the boys were kind of fussy on and off all day..by the time bedtime rolled around and they both fussed and carried on through dinner I was ready to get out of here. We're supposed to have some big winter/ice storm tonight, so I knew tomorrow was going to be out for going anywhere. I think Jason was glad to have the house (and the History Channel) to himself. He's got six patients in the hospital which is unheard of for him, so he's been getting up at 5:30 in order to get into the hospital to round prior to going into the office. Love him for that..he could easily wait to round until after work. By the time it gets to that point in the day I'm just ready for him to come home!
