Earlier this week Jason flipped Parker's car seat around. He's been big enough for awhile now to ride forward and he was starting to get too long to ride the other way any longer. His poor little legs were getting scrunched up!
The first car ride with him forward I kept turning around to look at him, it was just so strange!
So odd to have him sitting forward in his car seat like a big boy with his Taggie. It seems like not too long ago we had that same Taggie with him in the NICU when it wasn't much bigger than him! I think the boys can actually see each other more easily now. Quinny still doesn't weigh enough for us to flip him around! I'm thinking he's going to outgrow riding rear-facing length wise before he meets the weight requirement.

The End of an Era
Tonight, if all goes as planned, was the boys' last night nursing. I've been dropping a feeding every two weeks, and last to go was the one at bedtime. We'll see how things go tomorrow night. They've been really easy with the every two week plan, so I'm sure it won't be an issue. I think mommy is sadder about it than the boys are! It's really kind of bittersweet- they are growing up and are definitely no longer babies! Another reminder of how far we've come. I think back to when we first came home and how nursing them both was SUCH an endeavor. Amazing how things change in just over one short year! I would do it all again for them in a heartbeat. Love those boys!

The boys are getting so big! Such young men! Good luck with the weaning. Did you guys go out for a walk yesterday? I think we were out at the same time. My husband and I were with another family we work with. Unless there is another set of twins in the area. The weather is supposed to be sketchy this week, but maybe we could find a bright time to get the boys together for a walk.
