Art Projects, Dog Cages and Birds

Jason's parents got the boys this Crayola art set, complete with markers (!) I put the box away in the pantry along with their other art supplies. How many Christmas presents can you drag out at once? Parker kept pulling the box back out of the pantry. I felt bad not letting them work on their 'project' so the following day we dug out the art set. Here are the results!

"How did this get on my hand?"

"Whoa! These are NEAT-O"

Quinn looks like a drag queen! Thank goodness for non-toxic markers.

The end of the art project as evidenced by the destruction of the paper.

Hamsters 1 and 2 were here.

Would it be wrong to put them in here on a regular basis for about 5-10 minutes at a time?!

We have a ton of snow here. As of right now we have at least 13 inches. Prior to going to Target this afternoon (by MYSELF!) I saw this cardinal out back. So pretty! My sister asked me what I was going to Target for. I said: 'Sanity...how much do you think they charge for that?' Haha!! :)
Jason and I are getting ready to play Rummikub (yes, we are old). Before I go I should mention that Quinn has a TON of new words!! He is now saying: thank you, two, more (with the sign), broccoli, doctor, Chex (as in Wheat Chex), up, cookie, bubble, ball, teeth. I'm sure I'm forgetting some. He is becoming quite the talker and a little parrot! Parker continues to be a 'mover and a shaker'! He is ALL OVER the house and into EVERYthing. He will be starting Speech Therapy through First Steps. I'm never going to leave the house with all of the First Steps appointments between the two boys, though I did stop Quinn's Occupational Therapy. I didn't feel like we were really getting much out of it. Anxiously awaiting Vickie's visit on Thursday to find out how much weight Quinn has gained since her last visit. He now has Pediasure each night before bed, whether he eats a good dinner or not. So, he's probably packing on the pounds.
Last, but definitely not least...did I mention I'm pregnant? SURPRISE!! More details to follow in the next blog. Rummikub awaits!

First off the pictures are awesome thanks for sharing. I loved what you wrote about your dad. Made me cry. Second we got a kitchen too and she loves the thing. Third, I thought I was the only one cleaning off the swing to put the kid in it! And well, I can't count higher because I am still on break but thing looked like you managed Christmas pretty well. Hope you survived elmo!
