Lowering Standards

I've realized I've gotten away from blogging because I was putting too much pressure on myself to report the whole story of everything that goes on around here. So, I've decided I'm going to start up again with my original intent in mind; which was to document all the funny, quirky, maddening things that go on around here so that I don't forget them.

First up, when i think of maddening I think of poop. On the carpet. And not napping. I'm thinking the backwards pajamas are going to make a reappearance very soon. In the funny department-
Q- "I'm getting tired.
Me- "You are?"
Q- "Yeah, I am. I've had enough for one day."
Me- "Bahahahahaha"

Boys started their new preschool year on Wednesday and have a new teacher. I will be sending a note to school Monday requesting more of a report be sent home each day. I'm so sorry, but a smiley face on a 'behavior chart' isn't cutting it. They're three. Does she expect them to come home and be very good reporters on what they did all day? Yeah right!

Dempsey is getting sillier by the day. She is such a peach! She loves to be "Hollywood" which means she wears her sunglasses and gets SO EXCITED. What a hoot she is.

Fun weekend here so far. Boys' Auntie Johna is home from Chicago and stayed with us Thursday and Friday night. They love when she visits. I'm looking forward to a kid free viewing of The Help tomorrow afternoon. Can't wait!
