Hi everyone... I thought I'd start a 'Ransom Family' blog to keep everyone updated on what's new around here! Quinn and Parker are 20 weeks old today (already). I can hardly believe that next month they'll be 6 months old already. Where does the time go? It's so funny..when I was a little kid 'the adults' would always say how fast time went by, and to me a day seemed like a week. Not anymore! Last Wednesday the boys had their first follow-up appointment at the Newborn Clinic at Memorial. I had been looking forward to it all week. Jason and I were both able to go which was nice. Basically they have a physical therapist and a cognitive/speech therapist that observed the boys 'playing' on a big mat. They told us that they are right on track with where they should be developmentally. We just have to work on 'tummy time' a bit more often. Parker is getting better about it, but Quinn pretty much hates it. He just puts his little head on his hands and cries. It's so pathetic! We also had a pediatrician appointment with Dr. Hudson on Thursday and he feels that the boys are doing great. To me they are getting so big! Quinn is now within two ounces of his brother...pretty good considering he started out a pound lighter! Parker is now 9lbs 3oz and Quinn is 9lbs 1oz. ! I will try and post some newer pictures later today...the boys both look so different already!
