Birthday, Party, Superbowl!

We took a trip to the mall today. I thought it'd be appropriate for the boys to wear their football sweaters since today is Super Bowl Sunday! In this house we don't care about the game..we just like the commercials and the fact that The Office is on afterwards!

Some goofy woman at Gymboree thought Quinn was a girl. Suuurrre. I think it's the hair though!

Now everyone already knows what we got!

The boys' birthday party was hectic but great. Parker was pretty excited about the idea of digging into the cake and Quinn was NOT. We tried feeding some to him but he just wrinkled up his face and wasn't going for it. Their birthday hats were darling on..they looked like such big boys sitting up in their high chairs with them on.

Switching gears..the boys are getting to be good little eaters. We've tried all kinds of 'finger foods'. They can both now say they've tried broccoli, tilapia, tofu, mangoes, peanut butter (ONCE, still makes me nervous), scrambled eggs, salmon, along with all of the usuals. Quinn especially is not too impressed by 'baby' food anymore. He'll do it himself thank you very much! He's especially not too much of a fan of those 3rd food dinners. Vegetables he's ok with, although now that they've tried so many different types of finger foods I suppose there's not much of a need for the baby food vegetables anymore. On the other hand, it's a lot easier for me to feed them baby food squash than it is for me to prepare it. I'm going to have to get over that because it's not going to be much longer they're going to put up with my laziness! :)

Will run for now. Super Bowl is over, the Steelers won..according to my husband they've won almost 15% of the Super Bowls. Oh random tidbits of knowledge! Must go so that I can concentrate fully on The Office! Hope everyone has a great week. Wednesday is the boys' first visit to their new pediatrician and I think Auntie Maria is going to come and help me out. What would we do without her?!
