Thought I should post some new updates while the boys are down for their nap.

We went to the new pediatrician on Wednesday. So far I really like him. He seems much more thorough and has better answers to my questions. Our first pediatrician was very nice, but I felt like he never really had answers for my questions. I could find more information myself looking things up in books.

Turns out that since the last visit to the doctor Quinn gained 3/4 of an inch in length and Parker gained THREE. Are you kidding me?! Quinn is now 15lbs 11ozs and Parker is 18lbs! I'm constanty worrying that Quinn is eating enough..but I can't force him to eat. I put the food in front of him and it's his job to decide how much he does or doesn't want! On second thought I've always worried about Quinn in some way, shape or form! I need to keep reminding myself what Dr. Buchh said back when we were in the NICU...'Quinn is fine!'

Yesterday Quinn was NOT happy after having had shots at their appointment. He pretty much wanted to be held and cuddled all day. Can't say I blame him! Between shots and probably working on getting more teeth I'm sure he felt crummy.

Today we took a trip to Target. I should know by now to not try new things when I'm out by myself with the boys. I brought along the shopping cart cover thinking both boys would be able to fit up top in the cart. WRONG. I realized too late that only Parker was going to fit, so I had to drag out the Baby Bjorn from the back of the van and strap Quinn into that. That was all well and fine until we got inside and I had to take him back out of it to get his coat off. On the way out I decided I would just carry him in one arm and push the cart with the other. I wasn't about to put him back into the front carrier after getting his coat back on. NIGHTMARE! I figure if I used to be able to push a patient in a wheelchair with one arm and drag the transport cart with the monitor on it with the other when I was still working, surely I can push a cart with one hand! You might be thinking..'why didn't she just put the carseat in the cart?' Good question. I brought the big diaper bag with me. That plus the carseat in the Target cart does not a good fit make. Thankfully it wasn't too cold today and the sun was out!

I must run..Quinn is fussing in his crib. Short nap today. I'm thinking he's still not feeling great from his shots. :(

They are so big! I can't believe they're one! I can relate to you worrying about Quinn, I'm always worrying about Creighton because he was the twin that struggled the most in the NICU with A's and B's and being on the vent and CPAP longer. The b-day party looked like so much fun! I'll have to ask how you kept it sane here in a few months when we throw one of our own.
