Candlewick Pick

This book is a favorite in our house! By Lucy Cousins, the author of the fantastic Maisy books. We've been reading this one for awhile now, and it even 'made the cut' for the books we brought along to Florida. We have the board book version. The boys can help turn the pages to their hearts' content without worrying that they're going to turn the book into confetti!

This book is so colorful and I think it teaches a lot of basic concepts as well; colors, numbers, counting to name just a few. Most importantly, at least at this age, it's just a fun book to read! Of course our favorite page: 'Hello twin fin-fin fish!'
