Put Me in the Zoo!

Some recent pictures....

BIG entertainment! We always have the downstairs bathroom door closed, but when we forget Parker thinks it's his personal playroom. He moved the magazine basket and chased out the spare toilet paper roll.

Quinn in on the chase.

The other day I was in the kitchen making lunch when I heard Parker carrying on in the front room. This is where I found him! Of course I had to leave him wedged in between the wall and the end table long enough to grab my camera. I ended up having to lay him down and then pull him out. I tried lifting him out but his head was too big to fit!

Please ignore my dusty table.

We left for Chicago Friday afternoon, stayed overnight after a YUMMY meal at Maggiano's, and went to the zoo today. So glad we got there as they were opening. By the time we left the parking lot was packed.
I love how it says 'Have a WILD Day'. Is there any other option when you're out and about with Parker and Quinn?!

We realized that the boys couldn't see much from their stroller with all of the fences up around the exhibits, so out came the Bjorns. We haven't used these in an age! They really came in handy since some of the areas were off-limits to strollers.

A Monkey checks out the monkeys.

Mommy & Quinn

Look at Daddy, Quinn!

The Dino exhibit. I have a feeling in about two years the boys will LOVE this. Today they just slept through it.

Thought I'd get some pictures of the animals for the boys' album.

The result of no morning nap and lots of fresh air!
Thought I'd update Quinn's First Steps situation. The evaluation was on Friday before we left for Chicago, and they told us that he will qualify for some therapy to help with his gross motor skills. I was so relieved to know that we can now move forward with things. They will be out on Wednesday for the 'eligibility meeting' to go over the details, set up appointments, etc. I'm also glad that I'll be able to report to the people at the Newborn Follow-Up Clinic at the hospital that he'll be starting First Steps. We have our appointment with them Wednesday morning.
Think that's all for now...I have popcorn to make!

Thanks for offering the bumbo seat. We actually do have one. Our therapists have modified it to help him out. He does ok in it, but now that he is getting bigger it is hard to keep the tray on (with all the adjustments the therapists want to do to make him sit "perfect"). So we've resorted to supporting him ourselves when he sits. I really appreciate the offer though!

I love your zoo pics too! We can't wait to take Mikan to the zoo!
