Blah! I am SO ready for this day to be OVER. (Besides the fact that it's GORGEOUS outside-that I can handle!)
Last night we decided to let Parker sleep through instead of getting him up for his 11 pm feeding like we usually do. Lately every time you get him up at that time he's sound asleep and has to be convinced to nurse. So, we took it as a sign to just let him sleep. We're continuing to get Quinn up- he's not as chunky as his brother!
I thought I heard Parker get up last night around 3 for a couple of minutes, but then went back to sleep so I let him be. I have a feeling I now know what he was doing up at 3. This morning I went in to find him kneeling at the side of his crib with a crib full of vomit. GREAT. Last night's lasagna revisited. I had him in the exersaucer a bit later this morning and he threw up again. All while I'm trying to decide what I should do with Quinn while I'm trying to get Parker's bath ready since he was a bit smelly.
Now this afternoon Parker is choosing to not nap and instead pull himself up on the side of the crib. I keep going in, laying him back down, repeat. I did read in one of the Dr. Brazelton books that when they learn to do new things (pull themselves up, etc.), the napping goes down the tubes for awhile.
On a positive note, we did manage to get out for a stroller ride today and up to the park. We met Ali and her girls..and Parker was perfectly happy while there. So, I don't think he's too sick. I think maybe the lasagna was pushing it last night and didn't agree with him.
Must run and deal with banshee #1 upstairs.... Wish me luck.
