Yes, I am well aware of the fact that I only have ONE picture of Quinn to post today. I've been a bit lax in the picture taking lately. At least I put his picture first right? Poor Pumpkin has had a cold since mid last week. This is only the second cold he's had since he's been born, so I'd say he's doing alright. This is one is definitely worse than the first one though.
This boys and I went to Target this afternoon. I thought Quinn especially would appreciate getting out of the house. This weekend was a wash (literally) with all of the rain. The only thing we took the boys out for was their Easter pictures. So, I put them in the stroller and we wandered around Target for a bit.
While there we ran into one of the Lactation Consultants that helped me while I was in the hospital (and who I used to work with when I was working on Mother/Baby). She was excited to see the boys and couldn't believe how big they were!
When we got home and I was getting ready to put the boys down for their nap I got to thinking about how far we've come with them! This time last year Quinn had been home for 8 days, and Parker for a pinch over 2 weeks. What a difference a year makes in SO many different respects. I was thinking that I wish I could remember exactly what was going on this time last year, and am now kicking myself that I didn't start this blog earlier or at least journal about what was going on. Hindsight's 20/20 right?
With that in mind, I've decided I need to start blogging in more detail about what exactly the boys are doing so that I have some record this time NEXT year! I do keep a calendar on the fridge where I right down little odds and ends with the hope that at some point I'll get baby books made for them. For now, this will have to do!
So, Parker is now full-on crawling. He is ALL over the place. Quinn's not far behind. Yesterday Quinn was on the hardwood floor, did his usual lunge forward while on all fours and bonked himself in the forehead. Ouch. One of the neatest things right now is that Parker will actually crawl towards us and practically right into our laps. Very rewarding!
The boys are both continuing to expand their horizons food-wise. Last night they had chicken stroganoff and seemed to really like it. I think I was proudest when they both ate spinach and cheese tortellini with white kidney beans and feta cheese. I was majorly impressed. Parker will generally eat anything you give him, but Quinn's more cautious (and stubborn !) I've had to leave the room more than once because I get so frustrated when he just sits there and stares at the food. His eating definitely goes in spurts.
We are eagerly anticipating our Florida trip come April. Jason and I had been majorly spoiled with all the trips we used to take. We're itching to get out of here for a while. I think it will be a really fun experience with the boys and I'm excited that Maria will be coming with us too.
Should run for now and get some things accomplished....

I love the sleeping bags! What a GREAT idea! Where did you get them? I took Tenille out too but wrapped her up in clothes and blankets and the hat she hates. I also put her sunglasses on. She fell asleep and woke up like, huh ride over?
Thanks for posting on our site, we are now following yours! Anyway, I just wanted to say how absolutely adorable the pics are of the boys on the right side of your blog. I can't stand how cute they are!
