Keeping You Posted

Thought I'd better post an update before too much time goes by and I start forgetting things and getting too backlogged on the picture front!

I think I mentioned in the last post about last Monday night's lasagna not agreeing with Parker. Apparently it was more than just the lasagna. Jason and I went out to dinner Wednesday night and our sitter had him up when we got home at 11. I think Parker didn't realize that things still happen at 11 at night! Anyway, he had been sick in his crib, and literally five minutes after Gwen left he was sick all down the front of me. He ended up sleeping until almost noon on Thursday. I kept going upstairs and checking on him. Him sleeping that late was making me nervous! Once he finally did wake up he seemed absolutely miserable the rest of the day. Long story put short, Parker had his first bout of GI yuckiness. Poor thing had a cold and a stomach bug all at once.

On a happier note, he's feeling much better now and I'm hoping (fingers crossed to avoid jinxing myself) that we managed to not pass it along to Quinn. In the midst of the sickness Parker did manage to pull himself up to standing in his crib on St. Patrick's Day! Needless to say later that night the crib mattress was lowered by Daddy. Quinn's still scooting along on the floor crawling/rolling. Once they're both pulling up on stuff and crawling (quickly) in two different directions I'm 'going to find out what the world's all about' according to Alison's nonnie. She is so funny and some of the stuff she says is so Polish. She's just adorable.

Daddy and Parker with the Fisher-Price music stage toy (my generic name for a toy whose real name I can't remember). Jason's parents got it for the boys for Christmas and Parker especially has really started to gravitate towards it.

You know I always have a picture of my Crazy Quinn

And another one. We've found the easiest thing to do is make the bath water shallow enough that they can lay down, crawl around, whatever. Although Parker gets mad at times when we won't let him stand up in the tub. Too bad kiddo!

They both look like they're in trouble! :)

Wild and wilder.

Parker in his new PJ's from Grandma and Grandpa.

Quinny's new PJ's.

I couldn't resist grabbing the camera for this shot. Forget the milk...that's so TIRED..I'm going straight for Daddy's beer.

This weekend was Maple Syrup Days at a park just up the road from us. Jason and I took the boys today since it was so nice out. They had a little crafts area, hence the leaf headband and turtle rattle. Of course I'm going to pack both away in their keepsake boxes! :) It was so nice to get out and about. Yesterday Jason was on call and had urgent care. I was getting a bit stir-crazy. One thing no one ever told me about staying home full time is that while it's great it can also be mind-numbingly boring!

Quinn checking out his rattle that Daddy made for him.

Now we have crazy headbands AND rattles!

Mommy found us a pinecone to explore...too bad it was sappy. Out came the wipes!

Lastly, today is March 22nd, which can only mean one thing. We're on the one month countdown for our Florida Trip. YEA!!

I LOVE the pictures. The Easter ones with chics and the bathtub ones are my favorite, oh yeah, the beer-grabbing one is priceless too. Too cute. I'm glad the flu is leaving your household.

Rach-
First off, heard of the boys tried to kills the baby chick! Second, that would be the "sing and play stage" Tenille has it and LOVES it!
Thirdly, I love all the pictures! Sorry to hear about the flu thing but glad things are better.
