The Week So Far

Tonight Jason's working late, and the boys are in bed, so I thought I'd post while I have a minute.

Sunday morning we went to church (at 9:30! with the boys!). We haven't been in so long, it was nice to go back. Of course we were running a tad late. We had to stop for gas on the way, and for some strange reason it didn't click off when it was done, so there was gas spilling out. Oh my. When we went to drop the boys off at the church nursery, they both had messy pants. I was starting to wonder if we were ever going to make it into the service.

Monday (or was it Saturday?) the UPS man brought the new stroller. It. Is. Awesome! So far we've just wheeled the boys around the house in it. I think tomorrow I may take them out in it...it's supposed to 'warm' up a bit. The Red Castle Combizips I bought from mamabargains fit in it perfectly. The boys looks like little Eskimos all bundled up. Maria was here on Monday to cut the boys' hair. So cute. They look like such little boys with haircuts. Parker actually has a straight hairline at his neck instead of looking all scraggly. I will have to post pictures of Parker's first haircut soon.

Yesterday I took the boys over to Alison's. Patti was there with her little girl so it was a nice break for me and something different to do for the boys. Patti mentioned that Hannah weighed 18lbs at her checkup and is in the 25th percentile. Huh? I don't understand how Parker weighs a bit more than that and is considered the 5th. Those kids without adjusting for age are only three weeks apart. It makes no sense to me whatsoever. Not that it matters, it just seems strange.

Think I'm going to run and eat a little something. Tonight is our 'sandwich night', but I think I need something to hold me over. When Jason has a late night he sometimes picks up Jimmy John's for us. Yum and yum. Will post some pictures soon. Oohh..wait, that reminds me! This Saturday the boys are getting Easter pictures done. Heather isn't doing them this time. Jason's mom saw a lady at a bridal show and thought they were cute. Bunnies! Ducks! Should be fun.
