Parker's not sure about this whole bubble wrap sled idea!
This is crazy, Daddy!
We are wrapping up a fun weekend. Yesterday we all rode to Maria's so that I could get my hair cut. We ended up convincing her to come to our house last night and hang out with us. So, she packed up Cricket and came to stay overnight with her 'buddies' as she calls the boys. Jason made parmesan and chicken risotto last night..SO good..and we all watched a movie after the boys were in bed.
I think I'm finally (fingers crossed) getting over my cold. Let's just hope that no one else in the house is in the process of catching it. Anyway, today we all ventured to Jason's parents house. Maria and I went shopping at the outlet for a bit. I had to exchange a couple of outfits that Jason's mom bought for the boys that were too small.
Before we left this morning we unpacked the cupcake stand I had ordered from Crate and Barrel for the boys' birthday party. The bubble wrap was a big hit. Jason had the idea to put the kids on it and pull them around the house like they were on a sled. It was so cute. Quinn just went along with it, but Parker kept rolling off.
This week Jason's working late Monday and Wednesday. I need to call tomorrow and get the chicken ordered for Saturday. Maria and I went into GFS for the pulled pork today (on sale) with Cricket in tow. Lord. Maria just brings her right into places in her own little bag. I can't believe no one got after us. I think they're afraid to mess with the girl with the pink hair!
I will have video to post next blog! Jason got me a teeny-tiny camera/camcorder in one for Christmas. For some reason I've never been able to figure out how to put our regular camcorder/video online. Maybe now that we have the laptop I can reinstall the driver and it will work.
Hope everyone has a great week!
